In classic Tyler and Lauren fashion we managed to have the most last minute and inconvenient wedding ceremony possible. We completely understand if you can't make it, but if you can, join Tyler and Lauren for an October celebration where the forest meets the Pacific.

- Getting there
- Fly into Portland International (PDX). Cannon Beach is about 92 miles west, roughly a two hour drive on US‑26. The exact beach access point and parking plan will be sent to guests.
- Coastal weather
- A dawn ceremony in October means cold, and possibly wet. Sun, mist, wind, or all three. Be prepared for anything and check the guest update before heading to the beach.

Frequently asked questions
What should I wear?
Semi-formal, loosely held. Tyler and Lauren want you comfortable more than they want you formal. Bear in mind it is a beach at dawn in October, so warm layers and shoes that work on sand will serve you far better than anything delicate. There are some colours they'd love if you want a steer, but they're suggestions, not rules.
Is the ceremony outdoors?
Yes, on the beach near Haystack Rock, at dawn. It depends on the weather, and if the morning does not cooperate the ceremony may move to sunset instead. We'll share an update with guests closer to the date.
Do I need to arrive the day before?
Effectively, yes. The ceremony is at dawn and Cannon Beach is about a two hour drive from Portland International, so flying in that morning is not realistic. There is also dinner on Friday the 9th at 5 PM. Plan to be on the coast by Friday evening.
Where should I park?
Cannon Beach has public parking and beach access points near Haystack Rock. The invitation update will include the exact meeting point and arrival guidance.
Can I bring a plus one or children?
Your formal invitation will list every guest included in your party. If you have a question about your invitation, please reach out to Tyler or Lauren directly.
When should I RSVP?
As soon as possible.
